Hi,
I am trying to defince a JCA JMS connection between OC4J 10.1.3.3 and MQ , i have some issues i would like to make sure about:
- Do i need to install any thing on MQ to make it JMS complaint , and does that depends on MQ version.
- What is the use of the "provider.url" property that is required by JCA Configuration , and what are the proper values.
- Where to specify the IP and the Port for the MQ.
i had found many links that looks helpful , but if you have a good one please post it.
Thanks in Advance. |

No and it may depend on the version if you have to deal with old unsupported versions.

Read the JMSAdmin section of the using java manual in the infocenter My personal advice: start with a JNDI file based provider.

The JNDI properties for the object (once you display it ) will enlighten you further.
The info-center link at the top of the page should be your best friend.
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

You're not thinking things through.
Where and how you store JNDI entries has nothing to do with where and how the objects inside JNDI are used, nor where the things those objects point to live.
The file context should allow you to specify any valid Java file URL, that normal Java file handling routines will resolve. |
