Hi,
I am using MQ6 on linux.I need some clarification on MQ/JMS.If i need to create JMS Objects, can't i go alone with MQ6.0.Do i need to install the fix pacs for MQ6?
The thing which leads me to this question is from the following exception
Quote: |
[mqm@devhubapp01 bin]$ ./JMSAdmin -v config.scp
:/opt/mqm/java/lib/mqcontext.jar:/opt/mqm/java/lib/com.ibm.mqpcf-6.1.jar:/opt/mqm/java/lib/com.ibm.mqjms.jar
Ignoring unknown flag: config.scp

I have set the necessary jars in the classpath.I went across few discussions in this forum regarding the same exception. But i guess i have to install the fix pac for MQ6.
Thanks |

Regardless of any problems you may or may not be having, the answer is yes. There are HUNDREDS of fixes in 6.0.2.6 that are not in 6.0.0.0. _________________ Peter Potkay

On top of this I would not use the JNDI factory you are using. This ia a direct pass through to the qmgr and does little to emulate a real JNDI environment (like on a server). Please start with using the file based JNDI. No need for the support pack for this one. _________________ MQ & Broker admin

I'm also having the same class cast problem, even though I've upgraded to 6.0.2.6. Any ideas how to solve it? Thanks. |

YES Use the file based JNDI provider! _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
