Hi Guys,
Real quick question:
MQ version 6 on Windows XP
Which ".exe" file will exists with MQ server installation which wont exists with a client?.
Will that be "dspmqver.exe" under "C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ\bin"?.
As I have both server and client installed, I cant figure this out.
Can anybody share this info.
Thanks. |

The client is just libraries. The only way you get executable files with the client is by installing the samples. The client itself needs nothing executable.
But what are you trying to determine? |

Not quite true. A Client installation includes dspmqver.exe, strmqtrc.exe, endmqtrc.exe etc. An easy files to check in the bin directory that a Server installation has but a Client-only installation does not is crtmqm.exe. _________________ Glenn |
