MQSeries.net :: View topic - MRM-XML parsing problem, length constraints in type

I'm trying to parse xml message on MQGet node in broker 6.0.
On MQGet node:
Parser options: parse timing is set to Complete.
Validation: Contant and Value

One type of the message in message set has:
Logical properties:
SimpleType: xs:string
Value Constraints:
Length: 2

Problem is that when in xml message an element of that type has a string smaller then 2 (1 character) the message validates on MQGet (no error)

When I set:

Logical properties:
SimpleType: xs:string
Value Constraints:
Length: (empty)
Min: 2
Max: 2

then it doesn't validate and this is what I want.

So, my question is, what gives setting Length in the type in Value Constraints in terms of Validation?
