Hi All,

We have two overlapping clusters with two bridge queuemanagers.

CLUS1 has QM1(FR), QM2 and QMBRDG1(FR) &
CLUS2 has QM3(FR), QM4 and QMBRDG2(FR)

QMBRDG1 & QMBRDG2 forms a bridge between CLUS1 & CLUS2.

Now, If we have a cluster queue CLUS.LOCALQ defined on QM1 and an alias queue CLUS.ALIASQ for the same defined on QMBRDG2, any application connecting to any of the queuemanager in CLUS2 can put the messages in CLUS.LOCALQ.

My question, Is there anyway that i can control the access to CLUS.LOCALQ for a specific user ID. i.e

Suppose I have 2 applications APP1 & APP2 running under user IDs USER1 & USER2 connecting to QM3 to put messages on CLUS.LOCALQ through CLUS.ALIASQ. IS there any way to stop APP2 to put messages whereas allowing APP1.

Note : APP2 & APP1 have connect permission on QM3.

Thanks for your replies.

As there are other queues on QM1 and corresponding aliases on QMBRDG1 or QMBRDG2 for which I need to have permissions for USER2 but not for USER1, so I can not control the access by setting permissions on SCTQ.

So, correct if I'm wrong, "there is no way to have this kind of access control"
