Hi, I want to install XML transformation node to convert XML message using XSL style sheet. My laptop is windows 2000,The MQSI2.1 is installed with MQSeries 5.2.1. It seems I fill in all the requirement for this support package. And when I installed, it seemed no problem. But When I restarted the control center. I couldn't find XMLtransformation node in the IBM Primitives. I tried to "Add to workspace", but it wasn't also in the list.
I tried it many times, unstalling, restarting machine. Anyway, it just doesn't show up. My colleague also installed it. It shows up in his laptop, but doesn't work. I am not sure its reliability. Could anyone give me any tips?
Thanks in advance,
Michael |

You may need to copy the following files from
ComIbmXslMqsi
ComIbmXslMqsi.wdp
From the directory
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\repository\private\localhost\**MachineName**\MessageProcessingNodeType\
to
C:\Program Files\IBM\WebSphere MQ Integrator 2.1\Tool\repository\private\localhost\127.0.0.1\MessageProcessingNodeType\
or vice versa or something like that ... I cant remember exactly what it where they need to come from or go, but it is those files that you need to copy |

I got this problem of the xml Transform node not appearing in the list of nodes that are displayed by default. Copied the ComIbmXslMqsi and ComIbmXslMqsi.wdp to all "MessageProcessingNodeType" folders (under primitives folder and also under repository/private folder). But still the node was not displayed.
There is a "dftwksp.xml" (Default workspace) file under Tools folder of the MQSI installation directory. This contains the list of Nodes available by default. I added the line
Quote: |
<MessageProcessingNodeTypeRef icon="images/mqsixmlt.gif" xml:link="simple" xmi.label="MessageProcessingNodeType" type="MessageProcessingNodeType" refType="MessageProcessingNodeType" title="XMLTransform" href="MessageProcessingNodeType/ComIbmXslMqsi"/> |
Then the XMLTransform Node showed up for new workspaces.
But for existing workspaces (like the example workspace
"SamplesWorkspaceForImport.xml"), the above line had to be added in this xml in a similar way to display the node.
Regards
Kris |
