Hi,

I have MQ 6.0 installed on Linux environment and I am using MQ Explorer to monitor it regularly.

I have 1 Qmgr to which i have been able to connect and perform the tasks.

I recently created another Qmgr on the same server and i am trying to connect to it using MQ Explorer but I am getting an AMQ4036 error. Any ideas how to resolve it?

Thanks

And when you looked up AMQ4036 in the messages manual, what did it say you should do? Did you look in the error logs? What did they say about the AMQ4036?

Hi Bruce,

I know that this is an Authentication issue. From the MQ Manual "Access not permitted. You are not authorized to perform this operation. Explanation
The queue manager's security mechanism has indicated that the userid associated with this request is not authorized to access the object."

But I am using the same logon to start MQ Explorer from a Windows PC which connects to another Qmgr on the same Linux Enviornment.
