I am trying to create a script that deletes all the content (messages) of a certain queue.

I made a search and got the CLRMQMQ commend.

but i do not know how to use it, and where to run it,
I used it on the command prompt buti got the following error :

"CLRMQMQ' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file"

Please help

Have you tried reading the WebSphere MQScript (MQSC) Command Reference?

From the construction of the command, I'd say that's for iSeries/AS400/i5/OS (whatever you want to call it theses days), and pretty much confirmed by the Info Centre.

Google is not always the best way to find the answer. Look in the IBM manuals.

CLEAR QLOCAL looks like one option (RUNMQSC).

Your MQ 5.3 version is way beyond "End Of Service".
Migrate to a supported version.
