I would like to know if MQ has an built-in capability to define message retry interval and retry count. The scenario is something like this: I have a message that arrives into a queue, this message is picked up and processed but there was some error processing the message I would want to retry processing this message exactly 60 seconds later and for a maximum of 3 times. Can I do this via some configuration in MQ if now how can I achieve this.

MQ doesn't push a message into an application. The application pulls it out of the q, so the application is where this logic needs to be.
