How to take the full backup of a particular queue manager? if the queue manager is not in working state.

Using the backup procedures in the documentation would be a good start.

I'll assume you mean "not running". Broken would be a pointless thing to backup!

Though a restore might of course help.

Please look in to the support pacs - MS03, that also will give you some sort of idea while coming up with the back up document.

Be aware however that the MS03 pac requires the queue manager to be running, so may not meet your needs as you have specified them.

It's a good thing to include in a backup strategy though.

Look for an IBM Redbook called Backup and Restore, or something similar.
