I know we get COBOL copy books from OS/390 to create message definition file of message sets. Is there any way we can create copy books from AS400/iSeries files too ?

Thanks.

He suggests to use JDBC Object Discovery Agent and Business Object Designer to generate xsd. But i don't think those are free tools from IBM. Can you suggest me any alternate ways to build XSD from AS400 Physical files.

Thanks.

I'm not an expert in AS/400 file formats. If you can convert to COBOL or C or XSD then you can use the importers in the product. Otherwise you will have to come up with your own solution ( either hand-craft the message definitions, or write your own AS/400->COBOL/C/XSD converter )

Anybody else got any suggestions?
