Sorry, but I am really new to all this MQ stuff. Can you please tell me how do I make sure the Queue Manager is started. Is it installed with MQ Workflow or MQ Series? Is there any specific process that I need to check?

Disclaimer - I know nothing about Workflow.
There will be an MQService on Windows that should be set to automatically start, you should check it has done this.
You can check if the queue manager is set to auto start via the MQ Explorer.
All of this should have been set up by the WMQ install. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Hi,
Thanks for the response. I have IBM MQSeries service that is set to start automatically and it is up. However, inn my start->IBM websphere MQ-> menu, I can see only the following 2 menus -
IBM Key Management
Prepare websphere MQ Wizard.
How do I access this MQ Explorer? |

By following the suggestion of jmac and redoing the WMQ install.
It should be the 3rd item in that list. I am disturbed to discover it isn't. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
