Along with it I ask.

Please pardon me if I offend you here. It is not my intention.

You may ask whatever you chose to ask. Your questions are tutorial in nature. You are asking to be led from a poor understanding of MQ basics toward a deeper understanding. What you are hearing (reading) in replies to your post is that some of us choose not to perform the tutorial role.

Your post asks 'what else...' The 'what else' you are looking for is in the manuals, and can be observed by simple testing with free software.

There are MQ tutorials in abundance, many books, classroon- and online-training providers (www.ibm.com/training) - many, many sources of fundamental MQ knowledge.

I guess if I had to define why I participate in this post site, it would be FIRST: to help those in need, not in want. Your posts demonstrate that you want to know stuff; but, at this time, you have no real need.

I believe that, generally, my time is equally important as yours. I assume that your time is as limited as mine. I will gladly help you and others that need to resolve a problem (technical, procedural, other), including understanding how things work. My expectation is that you will have done your homework before asking me for help; meaning that you have done the necessary reading, thinking, testing, problem-determination.

In summary, I appreciate your desire to understand WMQ, and the efforts you have taken to-date to get where you are. I also appreciate that you want to know more.

I believe you need to spend more time helping yourself, and less time depending on others - especially when it comes to 'the basics.'

Most of the questions posted did include MQ definitions that were tested, studied and much more. A combination of theory and practical has been posted. Please go through the repository of questions being asked. Please also take note that not everything in MQ are practicle. Some requires theory understand. Want and need are the same in a positive manner. I do not think in the negative manner. Thinking in a negative manner is not mature. As for this discussion it could have been handled in a very professional manner that is via a personal message. Publishing it openly does lead to tranparency, openness and reveals a persons conscience, but then it creates a mix feeling. It can be very misleading to others who participate the forum. Kindly send a private message in future. I would appreciate it . Also I will not be pointing fingers at who is right and wrong in this matter. As far as I know I have done things in the proper mode of channel and I am open to accept MQ answers. Also time is important to everyone. But then the rain and sun shines and falls on everyone that includes the poor, rich, weak, strong, smart, average and so on. Gold is precious but then it fades. I can wait for solutions. Patience is the key to success. Thank You

Well, I talked to my kid at dinner tonight. He thinks that he could do neuro-surgery without any experience. I'm sure his rates are competitive.....

Suprising part, I did some reading today and discovered that the owners of fortune 500 companies dont even have a degree or business education. Suprising that they are outstanding

Well actually it's because of timing. I call it recession. No one on this earth ever have a smooth life from the day they were born to the time they leave everything behind and achieve eternal rest. Everyone gets effected if a company falls. No one is free from debts such as housing loan, car loan and so much more . So eventually everyone has to run. Join the race, the amazing race

I have read and re-read the thread's posts, ..... it is my opinion that bruce2359s entry needs to be re-stated, i have taken the liberty to mark some of the statements in BOLD to bring added attention to them.

My personal observation of some of initial poster's previous posts does support the statements highlighted here. If this is considered to be poitning fingers, so be it. In over a year of handling the admin side of the forum, it has been my general observation that senior foum members who readily and voluntarily participate and at times offer some constructive criticism and commentary for the benefit of the forum and general membership at large, do not continue to hold or maintain a negative impression of someone who responds positively in her/his future postings practice. Let's leave it at that.
