I have an interesting problem with the use of the MQMD structure.
An application I interface with requires a provided userid embedded in the MQMD.ApplIdentityData field as part of its security. When I complete the MQMD.ApplIdentityData field with that id and mqput the message, I've noticed that the message's applidentitydata field is completed with the windows account under which the app is running, rather than with the id I used in the structure. This behavior is occurring on both client and server-based apps. It almost seems like MQ is ignoring what I put in the structure. Any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please give more details?
What is the application Id you are passing? Are you sure you have all the authorizations needed (Setall)? Are you passing an Alternate UserId?

And are you setting the PMO options telling the QM you are attempting to set the ID?
