Hi

Can anyone explain me the concept of audit trail
How it is done, why it is done and how will i know that audit trail is on.

Please refer WorkFLow Administration guide. There is separate chapter for audit trail.

The audit trail is controled via the Network Hierarchy. You can easily turn on the Audit Trail (off by default) for all Process instances using the Domain Properties Process tab.

For information on using the audit trail I would consult the Administration Guide.
