Hi Guys,
My QMgr is of MQ V.7.0 which is running on an AIX box.
I have my MQExplorer of V.6.0 on my local PC(windows). Trying to access the remote QMgr V.7.0 from my MQExplorer(V.6.0). I am able to add it to my MQExplorer QMgrs list and is showing as running but I dont see any objects under it.
Is MQExplorer V.6.0 is going to support a QMgr of V.7.0?. Did anybody tried to accomplish this?.

| Do you have the latest version of the MQ Explorer (latest fixpack installed). AFAIK this should work, of course you won't see any V7 specific objects, such as Topics, but you should be able to see all the V6 stuff. |

yes i have it running fine on my machine..
AIX mq 6
windows MQ 7 explorer

As you are able to access V.7.0 QMgr in MQ.V.6.0 Explorer, it seems fine in accessing MQ V.7.0 QMgr from MQ.6.0 Explorer.
Here is my issues:
I am able to add the remote QMgr which is running on V.7.0 to my explorer(v.6.0) and it is showing as running in the Explorer but I dont see any objects(queues, channels, listeners, etc) under the QMgr. Do you guys know what could be the issues?.

In addition, if you have a V7 queue manager, then you are allowed to install the V7 explorer, why not install the V7 Explorer which will allow full access to V7 and V6 queue managers and a whole bunch of other useful functionality. |
