Hi,
I have tried to install mq client on a solaris server
when i run
SERVER{root}51:./mqlicense.sh
License has already been accepted: Proceed with install.
It says license accepted
SERVER_{root}52:pkgadd -d .
The following packages are available:
1 gsk7bas Certificate and SSL Base Runtime (gsk7bas)
(sparc) 7.0.4.11
2 gsk7bas64 Certificate and SSL Base Runtime (gsk7bas64)
(sparcv9) 7.0.4.11
3 mqm WebSphere MQ Client for Sun Solaris
(sparcv9) 6.0.2.3
When i choose number 3
ERROR: WebSphere MQ cannot be installed until the license
agreement has been accepted.
Run the 'mqlicense' script, which is in the root
directory of the install media, or see the
Quick Beginnings book for more information.
pkgadd: ERROR: request script did not complete successfully
I have gave full permission, ownership etc.
Is the package wrong?
What is wrong? Can any1 pls kindly advise me? |

So what did the log say? Doesn't that script create a log file? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

We have seen cases where the files created by running the mqlicense.sh command were not readable by the request and/or checkinstall scripts. This behaviour depends on root's umask and the patch level of the Solaris installation tools. After running mqlicense.sh check that /tmp/mq_license and all files with this directory are world readable and then try the installation. _________________ Philip Morten
