Yeah.. saw that.. reason could be no messages were there to transfer.. You haven't seen the last of sami yet.. .. will be back after dinner ..

SVRCONN channels can be in a running condition with NO messages being transferred across them

SVRCONN channels do not start until a successful incoming connection is made!

I suggest you do a bit of testing to satisfy yourself, i.e. check state of a SVRCONN with nothing connected, then connect to it and recheck state, then disconnect and recheck state.

The case was with MQ installation done by admin in vacation. The config was not finished I see.
I have tried dft first but it didn't work. Alter chanel1 with 'mqm'...
estart of mq by your advice for a case. It works now.
