Hi all,

Is it possible to find out what are the valid field names for a message set? Sort of like doing a "Ctrl-space" when writing ESQL code but during runtime

We are trying to create a generic tool to update test messages when the message set was changed. We do have a work around; but would be a lot easier if we can loop through the valid field names of the new message set

Any input would help. Thanks

If you create a message out of 'default' values, using create field/parse, then you can walk through that and get FIELDNAME.

There is no Broker code API that lets you access the runtime dictionaries.

But also remember that mxsds are just xsds... (at least until they are deployed).
