I want to ask for pro and cons to the topic:
Should I use DNS names or native IP adresses.

Pro DNS:
- Easier to understand
- if the related IP will change, you do not need do change the MQ config

Con DNS:
- DNS Server could be down and so a point of failure in a HA environment

And hints ?

You only have 1 DNS server? If yes and it goes down MQ channels not working is the least of your company's problems at that point!

Use DNS names for MQ channels.

Agreed. DNS names are mandatory if you use an MQ cluster and have nating in place between the qmgrs in the cluster.
