Question. My extent with working with MQ has mainly been through the browser. However we recently had over 400 messages dumped in our Dead Letter Queue. Is there an easy way to dump messages for display purposes? I am not interested in taking any actions on them at this time.

I did browse through the search feature and found several references to amqsdlq. However either I have the syntax incorrect or it is not what I am looking for.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

try amqsbcg qname qmgr-name > textfile.txt. then you can look at the txt file...

Hi,

Or for a beautiful view of the messages on the DLQ, you should try MQ Visual Browse or MQ Visual Edit.
