I have created cluster (cluster1). In that two QM(london, newyork) are there. Both are full repos. I can able to communicate within cluster. I have created a another QM (paris.out) which is outisde the cluster. There is physical connections(chl) between the QM(paris, london).
I can able to put and get between the two QM london and paris.
Question:
How do i put and get msg from paris to newyork(since there is no chl are there between paris and newyork). the communcication is between paris and london is there? |

those channels get created automatically and become active when a routing is required... _________________ Cheers |

Define a SDR/RCVR pair between London and Paris, and any routing objects, Remote Def's, TXQ's etc.
If you want to get messages from New York to Paris, share any Remote Def's to it in the cluster. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Hi,
My ultimate aim is that , i want to put msg to the cluster queue where it resides is QM and that QM is not of full Repos. The QM which i wants to put the msg is connects to the QM which is Full Repos.
From the QM which is outside the cluster i just want to put the message to QM which is Full Repos(connects to the QM which is outside). From there it has to reach to the queue which i want. |

Use the topology described in the clusters manual for this situation.
Hint: Try the section titled "Putting from a queue manager outside the cluster" _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I'm not sure I understand the question. You have only two queue managers in your cluster, and both are Full Repositories. If you add more queue managers to the cluster, they should be Partial Repositories, and you can define your cluster queues in them.
If you want to put a message from Paris to one of the cluster queues on the Partial Repository queue managers, use the London queue manager as a gateway.
I suggest a close look at the Clustering manual to get the necessary detail on how to define cluster queue manager aliases. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
