Hello Everyone,
I liked to know the possible scenario's of MQRC 2009 and the appropriate fix for the problem.
At our organisation, we are facing this issue for past 20 days and we are looking for a permanant fix.
Organisation Environment:
MQ CLIENT - Windows Machine
MQ Server - Solaris Machine
The client sends & receives data throughout the day without any problem. But from 11 PM in the night to 8 AM in the morning the network is idle. When we first send a message at 8 AM it throws error 2009 and once we restart the application its being fixed.
From the behaviour we came to know the problem could be due to Network idleness / firewall and we added the AdoptNewMCA attributes in qm.ini and still we could not solve the problem.
I have two questions...
1. Will TCP Stanza [TCPKeepAlive = Yes] will solve the problem or i need to do something with Firewall settings.
2. Should i keep my TCP Timeout less than Firewall timeout..?
I need to know how to verify the Firewall timeout and other parameters..?
Appreciate your Contribution...
Thanks, |

Yes, this helps a lot, as it will wipe off the orphaned channel processes.
As i know, this is the one good approach.

2009 is a common problem, and there have been a lot of posts with a lot of scenarios and a lot of possible solutions.
As you've correctly identified, it's as much a product of your network configuration as it is your WMQ configuration. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
