Hi,
I hope this is the right forum to post this question.
I'm configuring the MQ functions on DB2. When I execute the following command it hangs on MQ Functions Validation Phase (I already installed AMI from the package provided by DB2):
LIBPATH=$HOME/sqllib/lib32 enable_MQFunctions -n test -u ****** -p ******** -v 0pc
I have configured previouly this environment without problem.
My environment has the following caracteristics:
AIX: 5.3.0.0
MQ: 530.13 CSD13
DB2: DB21085I Instance "*********" uses "32" bits and DB2 code release "SQL08022"
with level identifier "03030106".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v8.1.1.89", "OD_14086", "U800789_14086", and
FixPak "9".
When I list the applications running against DB2 i get only db2MQCheck and it nerver returns.
I don't get any output at db2diag.log.
I have to force the application in order it finsh running.
Any clue o help where to look for?
Thanks in Advance. |

Is there any particular reason in doing so?
The reality is that I can't do that, besides it's a configuration that is working.
Is there anytihing I can do to fix my current config?
Thanks for your answer. |

The particular reason for doing so is...
You can't ask IBM support for what you can do to fix your current config...
At least not the MQ support team, since MQ v5.3 is out of support.
You might be able to get the DB2 support team to help you with this, since this actually a DB2 thing much more than an MQ thing. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
