I'm trying with remote clustering and want to hold the queue managers in cluster.
I created the queue managers on the local and remote systems
when i'm trying to add the remote queue manager it is giving an error like unable to establish the connection
I need help how to create the users for mq or is there any step to follow for adding the remote manager to the cluster.
Thanks in Advance |

Exactly like that? Partially like that? Mostly like that? With or without a reason code? Have you checked the connection?

What has this to do with your question?

Aside from the step by step instructions in the documentation, no. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

"Remote Clustering"... </HeavySnoopySigh>
Anyway, we will assume you are only talking about MQ Clustering and not hardware or any other kind of clustering.
So, you found the information at this link to be of no use?
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmqv6/v6r0/topic/com.ibm.mq.csqzah.doc/qc10420_.htm
Without reading and understanding this topic, you are likely to end up with some other kind of "cluster".
Please read the whole cluster book before proceeding. I'm not saying memorize it or even understand it 100%. You can even skip anything SSL the first time through. |
