Hi all,

I have installed MQ V5.3 in Unix machine and created a SO to connect to the MQ v5.3 present in Windows. It was working fine in devlopment env.

Now in production env i want to connect to MQ v6 installed in windows in the similar way from unix using the same SO.But while trying to connect to MQ 2195 error is coming(MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR)

These are things i did.

1.In devlopment env,i have used C API's,compiled and created an SO,to connect to MQ v5.3 installed in windows.

2.I want to use the same SO in the production env.I just copied the SO from devlopemnt env and did chatr.

3.While doing chatr for SO in the production env,i came across errors like shared lib doesnot exists for the following files.
libmqmzse.sl
libmqic.sl
libmqmcs.sl

I copied the lib files from my env to production env and did the chatr.

4.Now while trying to connect to MQ v6 installed windows ,2195 (MQRC_UNEXPECTED_ERROR) error is coming.

In developemnt env, i have MQ v5.3 in Windows and Unix. But in Production env, MQ v6 is installed in windows machine.
Can i connect to Mq v6.0 here using same SO.

And also I dont have any MQ client or server installed in Unix m/c in production env.I just put the files in the lib dir. Will it work or i have to install a Mq client or server in unix machine. If yes, whhtr Mq client is enough?

Thnx in advance
dinesh

Start from installing MQ client on your unix production env then test it.

Start from installing MQ v6 on your development environment!

And then make sure that MQ Client feature is installed in production, too.

UPS.

Of course.
I was talking abort DEV environment.
Testing on PRD is not the best solution.
