We have to support access to multiple external QMgrs using client connection from one machine.
For Example BRQM1 BRQM2 and BRQM3 are qmgrs of my external client.
My local Windows box running a MQ client program needs to access these QMGRs. I understand that I have to build a client channel table for the 3 QMGRs and put the table in my windows box. But these 3 branches out of the many gave me the same svrconn name to use. This gave me an error of object already exist when I tried to create the clinconn channel. Is there a way to get around this ?
Read the client manual and look at the examples for the client channel table and "fail over connections"...
This will help you understand how it works...
as the MQ gives same name for table file the best way to remove error if u r using CHLTAB file is to put tab file in diff folder in their respective qmgr name and then while refering gv the appropriate path...
Or you can skipp the whole Client Channel File thing and just make sure that the definitions in your Binding files or your JMS Definitions have the correct channel name and DNS name or IPAddress. _________________ Yes, I am an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial.
