There are two QM, QM1 and QM2 both QM are clustered QM. QM1 and QM2 are are full cluster respository.
QM1 and QM2 are on two diffrent linux boxes. Now I createed a QM3 on my desktop(Window XP). I want QM3 to
be part of the cluster. To acheive this by creating creating following objectsn on QM3

1.Cluster Sender Channel
To.QM1
To.QM2
2. Cluster Receiver Channel
To. QM3.

After creation of these objects sender channels are automatically started, but receiver channels is in inactive state.
I am not sure what is the issue. Any help will be highly appriciated. Is there any possibility of security issue.

Did you give the server name and port # in the connection name of the cluster receiver channel? Also, you dont need to define 2 cluster sender channels to each of the full repositories. If you create one CLUSSDR, the other one would get created automatically

Did you cluster QM3's CLUSSNDR To.QM1 and its CLUSRCVR To.QM3?

Uncluster and delete the To.QM2 channel on QM3 like senMQ said.

Are there any retrying channels on QM1 or QM2 trying to get back to QM3?

Is the CONNAME parm in the CLUSSNDRs pointing to the correct hostname and port # that channel points at?

Is the CONNAME parm in the CLUSRCVRs pointing to the correct hostname and port # , namely the owning QM's hostname and port #?

Is there actual network connectivity between QM1 / QM2 and your QM3 machine?

Is QM3's Listener running?

THATS CORRECT ONLY ONE SENDER CHANNEL IS REQUIRED ..
.AND SECOND THING IS RECEIVER CHANNEL REMIANS INACTIVE TILL IT GOT ACTIVATED BY MEANS OF SENDING A MESSG .. U SEND A MESSG IT WILL GT IN RUNNING STATE ...

IF UR SENDER CHANNELS ARE RUNNING..
