Now, the funniest thing is that the response message from server is fine if the Server application is running on Linux (the same listener name listener1). If the server application is running on my Windows PC, there where I got this time out. Is this a Windows firewall again or this is something else? |

despite my natural inclination to blame a particular opperating system for all the ills of the world, I'd have to say something else. A 2033 means that the client is connected fine, but never got the message it was expecting. If there was a firewall issue, I'd expect 2009/2019/2059/something a bit more network.

A 2033 always means that the MQGet succeeded, and found no message.
A 2033 waiting for a response message may mean that a) the request was never properly sent, b) the response was never properly sent, c) the response took longer than expected to generate, d) the response was sent to the wrong place, e) the request was sent to the wrong place.....
