When you get v6.1 you will be able to do high-performance standards-compliant XML Schema validation in the XMLNSC domain.

We are using MB v6.0 on AIX.
The xml-validator node support pac IA9A says that it works on AIX.

But the instructions for the run-time component don't mention about AIX.

The instructions are given only for Windows and Linux.

We aren't sure whether the support pac IA9A works on AIX.

Can Kimbert or someone from Hursley please clarify ?

thanks.

Can anyone share any experiences with the support pac IA9A on MB v6 / AIX ?

We are going to test on AIX but just want to know other's experiences from a production environment pont of view.

Thanks.

Since the validator node uses java, it should work fine on AIX when setup properly (correct jdk & libs etc). If the support pack does not mention AIX support, then it is probably not supported.

It's a cat 2 SupportPac. It's only supported by the author, and not by Hursely or IBM.

But it should run just fine on AIX, afaik.
