Well yes. You do have to wonder what reputable company is using an administrator who admits to very little knowledge. I'd sooner not know, in case I do business with them.

Even more unwise to refer them to PCF!

I've worked with MQ for 12+ years and I've never had to personally code PCF messages to get the job done...

I thought that, but nothing gets you up the learning curve faster than cleaning up after a badly written PCF programme!

hmm.... i feel myself lucky that i got an oppurtunity(very small one though) to use them at such an early stage in my MQ career

It is not easy to admit that little knowledge, but i am only what to know wht kind of answer will given by the readers, hahaha....Well i am using customise software which created by us by using c lang. Of course it uses PCF command, my main objective is to know, what are the new technology is implemented to access the MQ.

you have Java apart from C to call those API used widely
