We are upgrading to MQ6 shortly and I would like to know if there is any need to change the broker to 64 bit or can we leave it at 32 bit?

I thought that only v6 supports 64-bit Execution Groups....

There's not any requirement to run 64-bit Execution Groups, even with MQ v6.

XA configuration is a lot more complicated with MQ v6 - if you are doing Global Transactions in Broker now, be prepared to spend a couple of days migrating the configuration/rebuilding the configuration.

We are currently running version 6.0.2. I imagine that there would be a performance boost if we did upgrade the broker at the sametime. Any thoughts?

do u mean upgrading broker to fix pack 5...
i suspect these fix pack give any performance enhancement
