My customer has installed MQWF V3.6 (SP5) for AIX and using WebSphere Application Server V5.1 Network Deployment.

We used fmczutil to configure the web client but we don't know how to set the application server name, as it is not a WAS standalone server.

Anyone has experience on configuring MQWF web client for WAS Network Deployment? Pls advise any hints and tips.

Thanks.

Patrick

If you are using the web client in an ND environment, you should deploy the application with WS ND deployment tools and not with the MQWF configuration tool. Just let the configuration tool create the ear and then deploy it manually in your ND environment. Either select 'Other' when being asked for the Application Server or de-select the automatic deployment step of the configuration tool.
