I have an application which gets triggered putting the response message on the dynamic queue extracted from the request message. This is not a remote communication. One app is submitting the request on the trigger queue while the other app responds to that. Do I need any transmission queues and channels for this? I was just making sure. The replying app should be able to respond without any MQObjects right? or is it that I need a transmission queue? I'm not quiet sure. Appreciate any input.

As long as both apps are using the same queue manager,
you do not need any transmission queues. If you are in bindings mode, you do not need any channels.
