Hi All,
I have WMB V6 and WMQ V6. I could not find much or any documentation about this but I am wondering if there is any Authentication mechanism that we can ensure for WMB V6 hosted web services for authenticating the web service requests from different web service clients? Please share your thoughts as to how we can provide Authentication for Message Broker web services.

WMB v6.0 doesn't provide any mechanisms for authenticating HTTP clients.

As far as I know.

This doesn't mean that they can't be developed.

It may be significantly easier to use something like IE01 to allow something like WAS to perform the authentications and a firewall and SSL to secure the channel from WAS to Broker.

Thanks for the info Jeff. I just wanted to get myself assurance on the capabilty of Message Broker in this aspect. Much appreciated.
