You need to upgrade to version 6.
It will have it installed.
Even if you think you can't, you need to do it.
Even if you can't, you need to apply CSD13. CSD10 is not so great. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

No.
You NEED to upgrade.
There is no command to find out if a SupportPac is installed.
MA0C is withdrawn, and put into the product. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks for the reply.
We are using Publish/subscribe feature in current env so I guess that means MA0C is installed (I guess later manually by somebody else before me, and that person is not here) in my MQ 5.3 CSD10 environment.
The question is how to find out where it is installed and how to remove it
before V6 migration process?
Thnks again. |

Well, not exactly, Poobah. The Publish/Subscribe feature was rolled into the base product on version 5.3 in CS08. I definitely agree with updating to CSD 13. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

You can't remove it at CSD10.
It's built into the product!
It was built into the product at CSD8. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thank you all.
what about these support packs below?
Migration doc says remove them before migration.
I don't think these are installed in my environment manually or by other means but I just would like to know if they are embedden in CSD10
MA0R WebSphere MQ transport for SOAP
MA88 MQSeries Classes for Javaâ„¢ and WebSphere
MQ classes for Java Message Service
MACS MQSeries Client libraries for AIX (64-bit) |

All I can suggest is that you talk to your MQ Admin. _________________ IBM Certified MQSeries Specialist

Is this the same company that advocates the teaching of swimming by using an anvil, hand cuffs and the deep end of a pool? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

That's nice. They gave you a snorkle as well. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
