I'm using a mapping node to map input XML to an output XML structure. I need to have the output structure contain all tags that are in the XSD, even where these contain no data.

I've seen the item on using the "Encoding Numeric Null" option

and I have set the XML Null Handling for "Encoding Numeric Null" and "Encoding Non-numeric Null" to NullEmpty, but I don't see the empty tags in my output structure. In this item, kimbert mentioned that
"You will also need to add a 'Null Permitted' value constraint to each nullable element in your model, or else set the 'Default Null Permitted' flag on the message set" for a WMQI V2 system. Does this apply in V6? What else do I need to set?

In v6, go to the element definition and tick the 'Nillable' property.
For this property there is no message set default in v6.
