Hi All,
Just i want clarify the WMQ/WMB Certification Numbers and able to see the following certifications for version 6.0
000-994 - IBM WebSphere MQ V6.0,System Administration Practice Exam
000-998 - WebSphere Message Broker V6.0 System Administration Practice Exam Questions
000-996 - IBM WebSphere MQ V6.0, Solution Design Practice Exam Questions
000-997 -IBM WebSphere Message Broker V6.0 Solution Development Practice Exam Questions IBM Certified System Administrator -
What about the below is it still valid ?
IBM Certified Solution Designer
000-296 - IBM WebSphere MQ V5.3 Solution Design Practice Exam Questions
000-297 - WebSphere MQ V5.3 Solution Development Practice Exam Questions
000-299 - WebSphere Business Integration Message Broker V5, Solution Design Practice Exam Questions

AFAIK the v5.3 certifications are still valid in the sense of recognised, but are not now offered as exams.
Don't know about the v5 broker ones but could imagine a similar situation. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I believe that once certifications have been retired, that the courses and the exams are no longer offered. But the certification itself is still valid.
Although I really can't say that I remember anything about Broker 2.1, despite my certification on it...
Also, rajmq - those are practice exams. It's probably not worth the $10 or so to take a practice exam for something that you can't take the real exam for. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Any idea what is the equivalent course IBM Certified Solution Designer for V6 _________________ IBM Certified System Administrator - WebSphere MQ V6.0

I've tried very hard to forget 2.1, and it's going well.

Thanks for all your reply and also i understand from your replies the below exams are called "solution designer". the names are different from V5 & V6 ?
Please correct me if i am wrong.
