I have WMB Toolkit Version: 6.0.2 Build id: 20061201_1308 installed on my desktop along with RAD v6.0.1.2. When I go to the IBM Rational Product Updater, select IBM WebSphere Message Broker Toolkit Version 6.0.2, and then select Find Updates; I always get the message back "No new updates found." The Update Sites has: "file:/C:/RADUpdates/rpu_601/rpu/policy_mb602.xml" as its value (no quote marks). The value of policy_mb602.xml is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<update-policy>
<url-map pattern="com.ibm" url=""/>
<url-map pattern="com.ibm.websphere.messagebrokers.toolkit.update"
url="file:///C:/RADUpdates/rpu_601/rpu/60/update/site_mb602.xml" />
</update-policy> |

What are you trying to do?
Everything you have shown appears to be doing what you've told it to do. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

You're surprised that the RPU isn't finding any new updates in the static file system that you unpacked a download into? Why?
Did you download something else, and put it in that same place? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Is the network open? Can you access external FTP sites? _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks to everyone.
I downloaded the ifix009 and docfix 003 from the IBM site. Then applied locally.
Eddie, I will try your suggestion next time I check for updates. |

I spoke to someone at IBM recently about this error.
They say that the problem that occurs when you want to access the update site is an error on their side.
They are apparently working on it... |
