Hi People!
I have a problem with the customer; the problem is:

IHAC that used to exploit the JTA/JDBC Coordination feature of WebSphere MQ V5.3.
Specifically he wrote a program that get many connections by the getJDBCConnection method in order to perform the same transaction across several different connections.
The customer told me that the same feature doesn't exist anymore in MQ V6.0.2
Is it true ? Is there any different way to obtain that feature ?

AFAIK it still exists. The difference though is you have to have a 32 bit and a 64 bit switch file...

Enjoy

AFAIK= As Far As I Know...

MQ is running on most Unix platforms in 64 bit mode. Thus exits and switch files will need a 32 bit version and a 64 bit version for MQ version 6.
The manual should be quite clear about the subject... Read up...

oki!....thank you very much!....

Now the customer uses this scenario in the old configuration with the MQ v5.3!

Now there is the migration on MQ v6.0.2.

For you, is possible to develop old scenario on MQ v6.0.2 without problem???

Thanks!

Impossible because the old scenario only has 32 bit files. The scenario under V6 requires BOTH the 32 bit and 64 bit files to work...
