our wbi broker v6 (csd 3) is frequently throwing an error abend msg saying 'failing to allocate memory'. it's on aix box. are there any settings that i need to make other than what i have currently made?
extshm=on
ldr_cntrl is set to 6 data segments. (which i guess should be sufficent for msgs that consume as much as 1.5GB of memory, isn't it?)
ulimit=unlimited for most of them (including memory)
opened a ticket with IBM but thier L3 support is still looking for the root cause. in the meantime thought you guys might be having few other ideas which might help me fixing this issue once and for all.
the msg size is not that big either (around 300KB), it throws abend,
but when i reprocess it it works fine. there is not much traffic when the msg was sent for the time too. and the memory consumed is less than 1GB.
We didn't had this issue for a long time when we were on 2.1 broker, but started again after upgrading to v6 onto a diff better box. it would be greatly appreciated if someone let me know what else needs to be done to get rid of this issue.

Nope, that's why I didn't post anything!
Works fine on Solaris but I can't see that's any use to you at all. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
