Please see below for the excerpt from the AMQERR01.LOG in local machine.
I am using WinXP and MQ 6.0.2.1.
8/27/2007 13:29:45 - Process(3812.4) User(MUSR_MQADMIN) Program(amqzmuc0.exe)
AMQ5037: The Queue Manager task 'ASYNCQ' has started.
EXPLANATION:
The Utility Task Manager, processId(0) type(3812), has started the ASYNCQ task.
ACTION:
None.

You have no control over this on distributed.
It is not documented how often these programs will run, so that it can be changed at any time.
It is not documented when an expired message will be removed from a queue, so that it can be changed at any time.
If you wish to control when expired messages are removed, you need to specifically try to GET them. As has already been suggested to you by fjb_saper. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
