Hi,
i want to change the Message Reporting LogLevel for the NEONMessageLog.nml file.
Does anybody know how the LogLevel parameter exactly looks like and where to add it.
I suppose that i have do add it to the "neonreg.dat" file.
Where can i found some information about the key value parts i can use within
the neonreg.dat ?
All i found about the LogLevel issue is this:
(mqsi52_sysmgmt.pdf, page 33)
>Message Reporting
>
>Log files and NEONMessageLog.nml, are used to track messages reported by
>NEON process applications.
>
>
>NEON applications use NEONMessageLog.nml for message reporting. You
>should review this file if you notice any unexpected behavior.
>The volume of messages reported to the logs depends on the value of the
>LogLevel parameter in the configuration file. The parameter can be set to
>INFORMATIONAL if you want to receive all messages which are produced.
>Set the parameter to ERROR to receive only the more severe messages.
>
>
>The detail of the information in NEONMessageLog.nml is reported using a
>standard message format:
>CCYYMMDDhhmmsslllZ||||
>||||||
Thanks
Frank

Hi Frank,
Just wondering if you ever found the answer to your question? We have a similar problem and want to know what the log level parameter actually looks like so we can change it.
Thanks,

Hi, there,
Is the following info what you are looking for ?
>1. Locate the nnsyreg.dat file.
>For more information, see Locating the Example Folder on page 20.
>2. To set logging levels, type the following in the nnsyreg.dat file.:
>Broker.Logging
>LogLevel=0
>0 Logs informational messages, warnings, errors,
>and fatal errors.
>1 Logs warnings, errors, and fatal errors.
>2 Logs errors and fatal errors.
>3 Logs fatal errors only.
All the information about how to setup nnsyreg.dat is in the NNSY online manual "System Administration".
Hope it helps.
Regards
