I'm trying to setup sender and receiver channels from mqconfig_01 to mqbroker_02, and vice versa When initializing the sender channel from mqbroker_02 to mqconfig_01, the sender channels starts up fine, and the reciever channel on mqconfig_01 starts up fine.
However, the other way around doesn't work. When I try to startup the sender channel on mqconfig_01 to mqbroker_02, I get this error message:
The return code from TCP/IP is
111 (X'6F'). The reason for the failure may be that this host cannot reach the
destination host.
The ports and ip addresses are correct. What's odd is it works one way, and doesn't work the other way.
Thougths? What's return code 111 for tcp/ip???
Thanks!!!! _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3

Linux Red Hat.
Solved. I was using VIP's in the connection name, and the VIP's were not working. I switched to host name and it worked. _________________ MQ 6.0.2.3
