Hi All,
We have tried to use jBoss and websphere mq with XA and found that it can't be used with XA as it doesn't support. Now,i am suggesting to use websphere mq classes for java inside stateless session beans. The idea is then we can use SYNC_POINTS and then get a XA behaviour i.e. when i read the message from the queue ,theni will commit the transaction only when the database is updated successfully and no exception is thrown. Do anybody see any problem with this approach or think that there can be some problem with this approach. I have to design a system that can process 1 million messages a day. Any kind of technical help is appreciated.
You can get XA, under the right circumstances, if you use MQ v6.0.2.1 and the JCA adapter.
You can't otherwise get true XA with jBoss and WebSphere MQ - in a supported configuration from IBM. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general.
