Hi,

I was wondering if u guys could help me point to some documentation on commit count.commit interval message flow properties.I found some in WBIMB message flows but not enough for me to get a handle on this concept.

Thnx for the respone,but this is exactly what I have already been reading bout.I need something more,maybe some examples of where and when to use commit count/commit interval and what would be the benefits of the same?I guess a business case would be nice.

Well, what business case do you have, that you're reading about it?

Or are you just trying to understand it yourself better?

Mostly, though, commit count (at least) is about performance tuning.

I am really just trying to understand it.Thatway if I were to use it I dont wanna be caught unawares.


Just a few questions:


If the commit count were set to 3 ,I guess messages will be committed at an interval of 3 messages or commit interval which ever happens to the least?
With that said I dont think commit count applies to coordinated messages only but could you pls confirm?
I thought messages are committed on every node as they get past them on non-coordinated transactions and at the message flow level on coordinated transaction(on a per message basis).How would commit count apply in such cases since the messages would already be committed?
