Hi,
I downloaded the Rfhutilc from IBM site(http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=0&q1=rfhutil&uid=swg24000637&loc=en_US&cs=utf-8&cc=us&lang=en).
I setup the Environment variables as (Variable Name:MQSERVER & Variable value: SYSTEM.ADMIN.SVRCONN/TCP/xxxx(port number)).
When I click on the Rfhutilc, I am getting an error like: Unable to locate Component(This Application has failed to start because imqc23vn.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this.).
I tried to re-install and I am facing the same problem.
Could anyone recommend any suggestions.
Thanks.

Hi,
I installed MQ V6.0 on my computer and added the Remote QMgrs to my MQExplorer. To place a message on these remote queues, I need the RFHUTILC.
Is it necessary to install MQClient to use Rfhutilc?. Please let me know.
Thanks.

If you have installed MQ Server on your system did you also install the client portion during the server install ??? You could also download rfhutil This is the
non client version and wont require ENV variables to be set.
PS If you did install MQServer install the client piece from that CD not a stand alone client install. _________________ Jeff

Hi Guys,
I am facing the same problem when I am trying to open the RFH Utility. When I tried to install the Client the following message was displayed "You cannot install the Windows Client from the client CD because WebSphere MQ Server Components are already installed on this computer. To install the Windows Client on this computer, use the server CD (AMQ4729)"
Please help me in resolving this problem. |

You have re-opened a three year post, please do not do so in the future but start a new thread and refer to the old you found...
That said, the answer is there in your post... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Using a CCDT with RFHUTILC is much better than setting MQSERVER variables.
It even offers a pull-down list of queue managers taken from the CCDT. |

However you can forgo both (if not using ssl) and set the MQServer variable value in the QMGR field. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
