Message Broker is not a J2EE container, neither a web container nor an EJB container.
You can not deploy a WAR, or an EAR in Message Broker. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

It doesn't matter.
Message borker is not application server.
Message borker is not web container.
You can not install BAR in Application server.
You can not install EAR or WAR in Message Broker.
These are totally different tools. _________________ Marcin |

It doesn't mean that you can deploy J2EE artifacts on the MQ queue manager or Message Broker. MQ v6 is not meant for deploying J2EE aritifacts, you can develop/write java programs.
You can deploy WAR file's only on server which provides web container. Message Broker doesn't provide web container.
If you have scenario where you have to deploy WAR/EAR file(s), you to deploy on an Application Server viz., WebSphere Application Server or WebLogic or another server. |
