Hi All,

We are using WMB as a webservice client to invoke web services from a 3rd party vendor. The vendor requires that we Call GetKey web service method to get an encrpted key and then call Login web service method to get the credentials for further API access.

The above login credentials can be used from a particular machine for a given period time, so we don't have to call the getKey and the Login methods for each request.

any ideas, suggestions of how this could be acheived ?

Venky.

I think this is a good route to do what you want...

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/wmbhelp/v6r0m0/topic/com.ibm.etools.mft.doc/ak35120_.htm?resultof=%22%76%61%72%69%61%62%6c%65%73%22%20%22%76%61%72%69%61%62%6c%22%20

check if the variables are set and if not then do the calls and set them...

Long-lived variables are good here.

Another thing is expiry of encrypted key.

You can use TimeNotification node to update encrypted key from time to time.
