I am looking for input to create a MQ client utility that runs in the background and periodically browses the queues (other than system queue) on each queue manager. I prefer using Java, any example?

There are any number of samples supplied with the product or on the web.

The question is why do it? The only reason I can think you'd want to do this is to monitor queue depth / contents, and there are any number of commercial products (and better ways) to achieve much the same thing.

What's your actual requirement?
